Our Process
We begin with a thorough inspection of the walls and ceiling for cracks, damp and unstable areas, then prepare the room — removing old paint, wallpaper and flaking plaster, dusting down and protecting the floor, joinery and furniture with covering film. We apply a deep-penetrating primer that consolidates the substrate and ensures maximum adhesion for the following layers, choosing a specialised primer where the surface is highly absorbent or very smooth.
Next comes layered filling — a levelling coat to straighten out unevenness, reinforced corners with beads and mesh, and a fine finishing coat for a smooth surface, with each layer left to dry fully before the next. We sand by machine and by hand under strong raking light to catch the smallest imperfections, checking flatness with a straightedge. Finally we re-prime and apply two or more coats of premium paint of the client’s choice, ensuring even coverage without marks, and leave the site clean and tidy.
